I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern University with Prof. Thrasos Pappas, who was also my Ph.D. thesis advisor. I received my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in August 2011.
My main research topic is the development of texture similarity metrics. My other research interests include, but are not limited to, texture analysis, color analysis of images, and also human perception and the links between different aspects of human image understanding.
I received my Diploma in Electrical Engineering in June 2006 from the University of Belgrade. In September 2006, I joined the EECS Department at Northwestern University as a Ph.D. student, to work with Prof. Pappas. I received my M.S. in EECS in December 2008, and my Ph.D. in August 2011 with the thesis titled “Perceptual Texture Similarity Metrics”.
