BRENNA D. ARGALL INFORMATION for PROSPECTIVE LAB MEMBERS |
|
FOR STUDENTS:
In the Argall Research Group there are no open M.S. or Ph.D. for the 2013-2014 academic year; admission rounds are now over. The next open positions will start in September 2014. No prospective student can be accepted to the program (or into my lab) before submitting an application through EECS. For prospective M.S. students: Faculty-student pairings happen only after a student has been accepted to the program. If you are interested in becoming my advisee, it is sufficient (but not guaranteed) to simply fill my name into that part of your application. If you would like to contact me, please wait until closer to the date of the application decision (not before: March 2014). Note that all MS students in my group are self-funded. You also may wish to consider the new interdepartmental MS Program in Robotics (MSR). It is a 12-month program that includes an intensive research experience. MSR students pay their own tuition. You can find more information about the program here. For prospective Ph.D. students: I welcome correspondence from interested prospective PhD candidates. However, please verify that both of the following are true before contacting me: 1) you meet the TOEFL, Academic record and Standardized test scores expectations of the EECS department, and 2) the date of your correspondence is sufficiently close to the application deadline (not before: October 2013). Note that all PhD students in my group are funded by the lab. FOR POSTDOCS: There are no open postdoctoral fellow positions in the lab at this time. FOR INTERNS: All RIC internship applications go through a single site. Amission for the summer 2013 internships however is now closed. For all email correspondence, please respect the degree-specific dates (for waiting) requested above, and include the following text as the email subject: "Inquiry about the 2014-2015 academic year". Due to extremely high solication volume, all other emails will be ignored. |
