When to Hand in

Lab reports are due at midnight (11:59pm for Canvas) on the Monday after the code is due, and should be submitted via Canvas.

Late Policy:

• A loss of 10% of credit for every 1 hour late.
• More than 9 hours late: 0% credit
• Free pass: within 24 hours for full credit, 1 pass per student per quarter

Code is due at 6pm on the last class period before the demo day. There is no late policy for the code/demos: 0% credit if code is not submitted on time, and 0% credit if the group is not present to demo their code. (And if only a single partner demos the code, the absent partner receives 0% credit.)

Collaboration Policy

• Lab work will be performed in pairs, however lab work must be written up individually, following the guidelines set out in the Lab Report Guide.
• Plagiarism will be checked for, and strictly enforced with a zero-tolerance policy. (At best, punishable by a zero on the assignment; at worst, failure of the course and turned over to the Dean for disciplinary action.)
• It is okay to share data with your lab partner (e.g., if collected separately), and to discuss the interpretation of your data.
• It is not okay to share text, figures or tables from you report – these should be written/designed individually.
• If you have any questions about what can and cannot be shared with your lab partner, ask the instructors.
